Kicinski Will Represent New York 22

Earlville, NY. (June 23, 2012) Michael Kicinski, Republican candidate for Congress, says he is the true Republican Conservative on the ballot for representing the People of New York District 22. The new district takes in all or parts of 8 counties: Oswego, Herkimer, Oneida, Madison, Chenango, Cortland, Broome, and Tioga counties.

Michael Kicinski says he is running for Congress because his opponent will not represent the new district and the People. "Mr. Hanna's voting record is clear proof he has failed as the Republican representative he claims to be," Kicinski said.

In a June 22 report by WKTV, Mr. Hanna said it is important to "tell people who you are, how you've worked, what you stand for, and let them make a choice" and that he is not taking the election lightly. Kicinski responded with, "Mr. Hanna won't talk about his poor voting record. Mr Hanna has taken his responsibility as a representative of the People and his defense of the Constitution lightly. His voting record proves he is not following his words from 2010 or the published values and platform of the Republican Party." When Mr. Hanna is asked why he votes the way he does, his response has been, "I am my own man." Kicinski says, "That does not sound like he is representing the People."

Richard Hanna is rated* 44%, at the lowest of Republican congressmen, by Conservative groups and has lost the backing of the Conservative party.

Kicinski points out that his opponent has not supported fiscal responsibility or family values, two top identifiers of the Republican party. "Mr. Hanna doesn't want to speak about these issues he claims he is so proud of: his votes for every spending bill, his membership on the Congressional homosexual equality caucus, his support for gender selection abortions, his telling people to give their money to the 'other side,' and his refusal to protect a citizen's Constitutional right to due process," Kicinski said.

"Mr. Hanna says he wants to finish what he started," Kicinski said, referring to the article. "But I wonder, what does he want to finish? Does he want to put the United States into bankruptcy? He voted 3 times to increase our debt limit to to the dangerous and outrageous record of $16.4 trillion. We can't keep borrowing. We need a practical balanced budget."

Kicinski says he will not vote for any more increases in our borrowing. "I will vote for real budget cuts, not the imaginary cuts that Mr. Hanna claims from a non-existent budget. I will defend our Constitutionally protected rights which are the foundation of a strong and secure nation, strong communities, and strong families."

Michael Kicinski was recently endorsed by New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms PAC, who stated that Mike "has not shied away from his convictions regarding the sanctity of human life, the sacredness of marriage or a proper limited role of government." He is also endorsed by Carl Paladino, Doug Hoffman, and New York State Right to Life, all who hold to a bold and uncompromising message.

Michael Kicinski will be a citizen representative, the voice of the People for New York.

Michael Kicinski is on the ballot for the New York Republican Congressional Primary set for June 26.
